Zoo

I found this sign last weekend with Lindsay in Dallas! (After the crazy hippies...but before the white van). I love the simplicity of this sign. Sometimes directional signs can contain multiple arrows for multiple locations and it can get a little confusing. There is nothing confusing about this sign...its pretty much straight forward. very nice! The little cut out horse thing on the top is a nice and clean decorative touch!

PS-I have tried and tried and tried and this picture will not post the right way! I dont know why...when I open the file its fine...So until I figure it out...just tilt yo head! thanks!

you are right. this sign is very simple, and very straight forward. i think the public can appreciate this kind of simplicity in design when applied like this because it is not confusing at all.

Really nice example of well designed signage. (Let's see what we can do together to correct the orientation.)

Love this sign...the cut out image of the horse is so simple and clean. It adds the elegance of a serifed typeface to contrast with the sans-serifed letters on the sign.

I agree with everyones statement of the simplicity of the design. I also appreciate the use of what looks to be FUTURA? maybe. If so, I would like to see this design maybe done with a bolder version of FUTURA. I think a bigger and bolder font will only increase the readability and not take away from the simple and clean design.

i could see making the top copy a bit bolder or change to caps to increase the contrast and hierarchy.

I really enjoy the cut-out in the sign because of it's uniqueness
