I like the contrast between the formal type of Bodoni versus the "I'm quick and easy" Walgreens logo. It definately puts a spotlight on the classiness of such an old and revered typeface.
I love Bodoni! It, like gothic font is one of those typefaces that can be adapted for any style or layout design. I agree with color me cool, it definitely looks classy, it looks historic yet modern enough to appeal to the consumer.
A book about history or historical figures definitely calls for the use of an old typeface. Bodoni was a great choice considering it looks old but not ancient...which is nice so the reader knows its somewhat recent and wont be in old english or something ridiculous.
it reminds me of a "franklin gothic" from last year...
i like the use of bodoni here. just a good juxtaposition of historic type with a historic subject matter.
i really don't know what else i can add to everyone's comments except for my 2 cents that i agree with everyone. the use of bodoni type versus the 'quick and easy' walgreens logo definantly adds a touch of class to the use of the old typeface. I like how the typeface looks old, but too old, it's very fitting of the 18th-19th century.
