i found this on the cover of a parts magazine when we were ordering floor mats for our rabbit. any who, i think it is a very nice design concept. they took the popular commercials with the vw hand signs and put it on paper, which i thought was really cool especially since it is done in such a different style than the commercials. very cool vw, very cool.

the illustration is literally interpretive through sign language. the colors demonstrate an 80s feel, kind of nostalgic. it looks like a gang symbol. awesome.
I never noticed this logo as a "F" and "W" until last year...it's a really great example and illustrates the zoo being in fort worth
The spots on the illustration really bring out that pop-art feel, almost like a comic book graphic. I also like the way they attributed that effect to the headline type.
