i absolutely LOVE yellow tail, and coincidentally the typography on the label and their ad campaigns is what attracted me to the product in the first place. the simplicty of the typeface used in [ yellow tail ] gives the name a clean, sophisticated feeling; whereas normally, such open kerning would drive me insane, it really works with this typeface and is not distracting to me at all, but assertive. also the placement of the wine type below [ yellow tail ] is very well thought out and the less bold typeface does not compete with the name at all. the open leading and kerning of this "wine type" works very well with the label name itself. overall a very sophisticated and classy design. yay, for VINO!

yeah they have a very formal approach to their advertising and labeling. i think that works well for attracting a young audience to their product.
