i realized that my previous post was just of images on the body, and not actually type that enhanced the body, so i decided to change it, but still keep my favorite images. the tattoo across the persons mid-section, is my friend merry, she's great as you can tell. i really like the placement of the tattoo, it's boldness and the typeface she used. its very her. the tattoo on the inside of the arm is ky's and it says "konfusion". i really just like the overall design of this tattoo and how he has added ligatures to the text, its creates a nice flow and the illusion of confusion. also the way the text was written is very unique, very stylized and very him. lastly the two images, the clouds on the arm are ones i drew on ky, and he drew the tree on my leg. i really like these two because even though they are not "tattoos" they are expressions of art on the body, just not permenant. we both just started drawing, with no idea of what we were doing, just lines, and as we connected the lines and added color, this is what we ended up with: expressions of a moment of artistic inspiration captured on the human form. i also wanted to note just how different the art looks on a body than on a piece of paper.
