i like mustard, but not as much as this dude.

so this dude got a picture of a mustard bottle on his arm...odd? anyway, its not my decision. apparently he felt the need to label it as well, with a banner. "MUSTARD" assumes a typeface that is not the typical gothic or scripty font that we see on most body parts, but it does the bottle justice with its simple strokes and san serif feel. i like the design and typography...i just wouldn't put it on MY arm.
(that's a pretty mean looking mustard bottle by the way...i bet it's spicy mustard!)

I agree, its not a typical typeface found in tattoos. Its pretty simple and easy going. Which I would assume to be the perfect choice for someone willing to get a mustard bottle tattooed on his arm.

i agree with both of them. the letterforms used in the word mustard are unique, but work really well with the overall tattoo. again, with this tattoo i think something with serifs, or your standard bold helvetica or arial font would have really mucked up this tat. the word mustard just looks cool on its own, and the thinness of the strokes attributes to the complexity of the design. i think i just mispelled like 10 words.
