ahhh a vespa...they're so cool. yes it's great how each letter has a round form, and they're all connected together with one big ligature
It's obvious that the designer of the Vespa logo used a computer to enhance his work. The formation of the ligature would have otherwise been difficult and may have not looked so clean if it had been done without the aid of a computer.
that rounded V would not look the same without the computer. the computer must have been used to manipulate the letter. the human hand sucks at drawing perfect curves...which all the letters have.
I like the curves of the v to make the handle bars of a vespa, its very clever. There is a lot of motion in their sign so the curves help to symbolize the fluidity and smoothness to riding on a scooter.
