San Antonio Rodeo

My friend got this in the mail (he's from San Antonio...hence why he got it)...anyhoo I noticed that the 'S' in 'San' resembles a cowboy hat which plays off the rodeo theme and style. It is stiill legible and does not disrupt the heirarchal scale used. And on that note...Im on break now for week...ciao

that's pretty clever how they made the s into a cowboy hat, i think it could have been pushed a little further perhaps, but otherwise it looks pretty cool..

I think this was a stretch...it seems like the designer was underestimating his audience. Like we are expected to say. "Oooh, aaah, he made a hat out of the S!" Ya right.

i think it is neat. i think it is nice simplified. It was cool reading "San Antonio" and realizing oo it is a hat. maybe Im dumb i dunno. The typeface and colors are also very San Antonio-ish.

im with ninja no on the whole seeing the s before the hat. I guess thats a gamble we take as designers on interpretive type. Because at first i was wondering why they used such a retarded looking s, then i realized it was a hat.
